Rates and availability may change based on equipment availability, lane, commodity, weight, accessorial services, appointments, detention, fuel, market conditions, weather, regulatory restrictions, or inaccurate shipment details.
4. Transportation Documents Control
For a specific shipment, the applicable rate confirmation, bill of lading, broker-carrier agreement, customer contract, shipper instructions, and mandatory law control over conflicting website content. Website content is general information and does not modify a signed agreement or legally required transportation document.
5. Shipper, Broker, And Customer Responsibilities
Customers, shippers, brokers, and their representatives are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including:
- Commodity description, weight, count, packaging, value, temperature requirements, and special handling needs.

6. Temperature-Controlled Services
For refrigerated or temperature-controlled shipments, required temperature settings and handling instructions must be provided in writing before pickup. Cargo should be properly packaged, staged, and at the required temperature before loading. Mann Trans Inc may rely on written instructions and facility-provided loading information. Temperature logs, where available, may be provided subject to operational and legal requirements.
7. Prohibited Or Restricted Freight
Unless expressly accepted in writing by Mann Trans Inc before pickup, prohibited or restricted freight may include hazardous materials, illegal goods, firearms, controlled substances, live animals, currency, jewelry, fine art, unusually high-value goods, and commodities requiring specialized permits or handling outside our accepted service scope. Undisclosed restricted freight may be rejected, delayed, returned, or handled at the customer's risk and expense.
8. Cargo Loss, Damage, Delay, And Claims
Cargo claims are governed by applicable contracts, bills of lading, federal transportation law including the Carmack Amendment where applicable, and any mandatory claims regulations. Claims must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation within legally required timeframes. 9. Payment, Credit, And Collections
Payment terms are governed by the applicable contract, rate confirmation, invoice, or credit agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due according to the stated invoice terms. Past-due amounts may result in service holds, credit suspension, collection activity, interest, attorneys' fees, court costs, and other lawful recovery costs.
10. Compliance And Safety
Each party is responsible for complying with laws and regulations applicable to its role, including transportation safety, food safety, sanitation, hours of service, insurance, employment, privacy, customs, sanctions, hazardous materials, and documentation requirements.
